Cancellation Policy

We at PineCabs.com are committed to providing transparent and reliable service to our customers. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking our cabs for your Kashmir trip.

General Terms

1. No Show Policy: No refunds will be issued in case of a no-show.
2. Minimum Cancellation Charges: Once you book with us, a minimum of 25% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
3. Trip Abandonment: If a tourist decides to leave the trip midway, no refund will be provided.
4. Force Majeure Situations: In case of natural calamities such as floods, landslides, or heavy snowfall, no refund will be issued.

Cancellation Timeline and Charges

1. Cancellations made 7 days or more before the trip: 25% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees, and the balance amount will be refunded (excluding GST).
2. Cancellations made within 7 days of the trip: No refund will be provided.

GST Policy

• GST is non-refundable and will be charged at 5% on each service provided.

Additional Charges and Conditions

1. Driver Tips/Gifts: Tips or gifts given to the driver are not considered part of the trip charges.
2. Extended Routes: Any extensions beyond the booked itinerary will incur extra charges.
3. Additional Passengers: Extra charges will apply for additional passengers not included in the original booking.
4. Change of Vehicle:
   • If a vehicle is changed due to a breakdown, there will be no additional charges.
   • If the booked vehicle is changed without a breakdown, charges will apply as per our tariff and will be adjusted against the cost of the initially booked vehicle.
   • Vehicle upgrades will be accommodated if possible, but downgrades are not allowed.
5. Restricted Areas: Vehicles will not operate in areas where local rules prohibit their entry. For locations such as Aru, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Zero Point, Baba Reshi Temple, and Drung Waterfall, union vehicles will be required at an additional cost.
6. Snowfall Conditions: During snowfall, chained vehicles are required, and the cost will be additional as per actual and prevailing rates. If chained vehicles are not required, no additional charges will be applied.
   • As of December 12, 2024, the rate for a chained vehicle from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is Rs. 1650 for one way and Rs. 3300 for both ways. If prices increase, you will be required to pay the difference in addition to the additional charges.

Union Rules and Local Sightseeing

• For destinations like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam, vehicles will only go up to the designated parking areas. Local union vehicles must be used for excursions.
• Driver allowances, toll taxes, and parking charges are included in our tariff.
• Sightseeing will be conducted as per the booked travel plan. Additional sightseeing requests will be chargeable upon mutual agreement.

Vehicle Disposal Rules

• Point-to-point charges or drop-off charges will differ compared to vehicle usage on a disposal basis.
• The disposal basis for any vehicle requires a minimum booking of 3 days.
